KUD Sevojno has been endeavouring for five decades to preserve the folk songs, dances and folk customs, primarily from our region, from oblivion as faithfully as possible. They have always taken care of the complete stage performance, and therefore much attention has been paid not only to enrichment of the repertoire by adding new choreographies, but also to as good reconstruction of the folk costumes as possible. Thanks to this, the ensemble now possesses a rich collection, in which some original garments are more than a hundred years old.

KUD Sevojno has been the ambassador of our country and our culture on their tours throughout Europe - in France, Germany, Italy, Greece, Bulgaria, Spain, Romania, Hungary, Ukraine, Macedonia, Russia, Austria, Portugal, Tunisia. The relationships and friendships with numerous ensembles in the country and abroad are preserved.
