The Cultural-artistic club SEVOJNO was founded in 1954. Since then many generations of young enthusiasts have been enjoying the folklore and care for a nice friendship among them. The club was divided into many sections consisting of a large number of members, but the folk dances sections singled out and developed into ensemble of high creative potentials and they act as one of the most successful representatives of a song, dance and national tradition from the rich varieties of Serbian folklore.

The cultural artistic club "THE ROLLING COPPER MILL AND THE ROLLING ALUMINIUM MILL" SEVOJNO is for decades among the best ones in Serbia and Montenegro. Numerous tours at the elite festivals all over the world as well as outstanding awards and prizes are a confirmation of the quality work of young lovers of the national dances and songs.

The ensemble may be appraised for its long years of taking part in many concerts and festivals both on Serbia and Montenegro and international folklore stage and has received the highest rewards and the most significant recognitions. The ensemble is rich
for its success, creations artistic achievements and significant for
its contribution, development and affirmation of national culture.

The versatility of folk dances, their richness in types, forms styles, melody and rhythm, music, songs, customs that associate with the dance, costumes, speak about the specific conditions in which they originated. Although dance is a category that varies in space and time, we may always say that it reflects the spirit and mentality of the people from a certain region, the character of the people, its life and way of living and way of thinking.

The cultural-artistic ensemble SEVOJNO performs its programmes in authentic folk costumes, which are shown at the special performances, such as fashion shows. It has a numerous collection of costumes of priceless value and beauty because some of their more than 100 years old.

The ensemble participated at many festivals in Serbia and Montenegro and abroad, at the stages all over Europe and it always got good marks and praises from the audiences and jury for their good performances. Regardless of the place in which the ensemble found itself in the world, the dancers had unforgettable meetings with people who always welcomed them with hospitality and friendship.

KUD SEVOJNO participates at festivals and concerts in the country and abroad and it is ready for developing all sorts of cooperation in cherishing and affirmation of the cultural creative work.

Presentation of the folklore richness is one of the ways to get to know and bring together different nations.

KUD SEVOJNO especially cherish the cooperation with clubs in other countries and every exchange of tours is at the same time exchange of cultural wealth as well as acquirement of new friends.

Therefore, KUD SEVOJNO invite interested clubs, festivals and institutions to work mutually at preservation and improvement of the folklore inheritance.
